This was a sold-out boxing event that took place in the Falls Park, Belfast. With 10,000 people attending, temporary grandstand seating was brought in along with the floor seating. as this was the first time ever, a fully seated boxing event was taking place on a green field site in Ireland, a vast amount of planning from a crowd safety & circulation perspective was required. 



 We worked with Feile and MTK Global for nearly a year, to ensure that the event was feasible and could be hosted in a safe and secure environment, which involved a significant amount of planning and management for a one-day sporting event.



By fight night the Falls park was transformed into a fully seated outdoor stadium. It was an amazing spectacle headlined by their hero Michael Conlon. As the site needed transformed from a green field with no infrastructure to a stadium there was a huge build associated with the event, including the large number of temporary seating structures, ring and stage. As the event was broadcast live on BT Sports and ESPN+, there was a significant amount of technical equipment and infrastructure to be accommodated on site.



We worked with Feile and MTK Global to ensure the event met all legal and regulatory requirements, developed the event safety plan, crowd management procedures and supplied over 200 security personal on fight night. We also managed the safety during the build & break (there was a 5 day window to remove all the boxing structures, before a 12,500 capacity dance event took place) and provided the event safety officer on the day of the fight.



The collaborative approach and months of planning paid off as 10,000 boxing fans attended an international boxing contest in Falls park. The event watched live on BT Sports with a uK audience of 2+ million and on ESPN+ with a worldwide audience of over 5 million.
